I have learned this week...

…that people who don’t care for the truth about you will debase themselves to any level to avoid hearing it. They will spread gossip; they will talk over you; they will shout you down; they will insult you; they will laugh at you; they will walk away, all without drawing breath. Because the truth frightens them.
